One of the most common replacement sizes on the truck: an oil-tempered torsion spring wound to .250" wire, 2" inside diameter, 32" length (250x2x32) for sectional residential and commercial garage doors.
- Wire size: .250"
- Inside diameter: 2"
- Overall length: 32"
- Wire type: oil-tempered — holds its set tension cycle after cycle
Sold individually. On a two-spring door, replace both springs at once so the door lifts evenly and the new spring isn't carrying a worn partner. To verify wire size on your old spring, measure 20 coils — .250 wire measures 5" even. In coastal air, a wipe of light oil or silicone spray at each tune-up keeps oil-tempered springs protected.

Safety: torsion springs are under extreme tension. Installation and adjustment should be performed by a trained professional using proper winding bars.
